Travel Tip: Go Local. Take advantage of opportunities to step outside of your comfort zone and try new things. We caught this tilapia minutes before it was cleaned and fried for lunch. Photo Tip: This photo is composed so that the bright colors in the center are framed by the light colors around the edges. This helps draw your eye to my main subject.

Photo Tip: Focus on the flower. Hummingbirds are fun to photogrph, but they can be very challenging. Instead of trying to keep your camera's focus point on a tiny bird, focus on where they will be and let them fly into the plane of focus. Hummers usually follow a pattern, and you can figure it out with a little patience and persistence.
